Travels With My Auntie Liz 11 December 2012 8-10.00pm
Congratulations from all the Celtic Music Radio team to all those who took part in The Trad Awards and to all the winners!
In the studio tonight I have Sandy ‘The Hat’ McInnes all the way down from Glenfarg to let you know about his new CD ‘Blues, Folk & Nonsense’ which Sandy had recorded to raise funds for the Jacqui Wood Cancer Centre at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee (Lady Fraser – Chairperson of the Campaign – info from email@example.com Charity No SCO15096.) A very worthy cause while getting great music into the bargain. Sandy also told me that Lady Fraser and her team contribute all their time and efforts without admin costs etc., so all goes to the fund.
You can buy this excellent CD by clicking on through our web sites Amazon button (costs you nothing to do this and Celtic Music Radio get some pennies too!) Or can buy tracks from iTunes.
So instead of sending a Christmas Card how about sending a wee iTune or CD and raising money for this brilliant charity which will hopefully benefit us all in years to come.
(ps our own georgous Ciaran Dorris has kindly donated his demo recording or A Time to Dance with Pauline Alexander to assist us in raising funds for the station that would make a great gift as well!- via out web site)
ps Next week it is my Christmas Party! not to be missed
