On ‘Travels with my Auntie Liz’ with Liz Clark on Tuesday 9 April will be studio guests Anna Massie and Mairearad Green to preview their new CD ‘Doubling’. And to find out how they are enjoying their tour!
Mairearad Green has played and composed music almost all her life. She is winner of many awards from the PRS Composer of the Year, the MG Alba Scots Music Award as well as a solo career. In recent years Mairearad can be seen on stage with not only Anna Massie but The Poozies, The Box Club and the Unusual Suspects to name but a few.
Anna Massie is a skilled multi-instrumentalists, from guitar, fiddle, mandolin and most recently Banjo.
Anna has performed not only as a soloist, with Mairearad and her own band but also in Blazin’ Fiddles and The Unusual Suspect and is much sought after by fellow Scottish musicians and on television including BBC Alba and BBC Scotland.
