On the second half of my show tonight I have two fabulous studio guests –

‘Al writes eclectic songs that reflect emotive events and experiences and, although the subjects may change, they all express strong personal observations’. But much more than that ! He will take your from his career in the 70’s with The Islanders, to talking up the flute in the 80’s and played with not only ‘The Bears’ but Annie Lenox no less But ! also to have toured with Middle of The Road! Yeas chirpy chirpy cheep cheep! To the Statesbro’ Blues Brothers !
To now recording some of his own wonderful songs and music which he will be performing live, ably accompanied by the very talented bass guitarist Alan Thompson, who for 29 years was guitarist with Mr John Martyn as well as performing all over the world with other musicians.
These two North East ‘loons’ now residing in Glasgow will bring you fabulous music and hysterical chat, so get the slippers on and curl up for an hour of these most excellent guests
