Barluath -Members are Ainsley V Hamill – Lead Vocals from Cardross near Helensurgh ; Alistair Iain Paterson – Piano and Keyboards from Bishopton ; Colin Greeves – Pipes & Whistles from East Kilbride ; Edward Seaman – Pipes, Whistles and Bouzouki from Edinburgh ; Eilidh Firth – Fiddle from Dundee;
These talented young musicians formed their band back in 2010 and have never looked back , from appearing in Washington DC as part of the Scottish Government’s St Andrews Day to winning a Danny at Celtic Connections in 2012 and release of their first CD ‘Source’ in September 2012 which was received with widespread critical acclaim.
Barluath will be appearing at the Helensburgh, Victoria Halls this Saturday 7 December
