Toasting Two Hogmanay Specials
Written by celtic music radio on December 30, 2023
Two very special shows to help see out 2023 and to bring in the New Year are on the Celtic Music Radio programme schedule this Hogmanay.
There is a live, four-hour Hogmanay show from Braehead Shopping Centre with a sparkling line-up of musical guests that starts at MIDDAY in the company of presenters, Sandy Weir and Ian Kidd, who are rarin’ to go.
Later in the evening – starting at 10 PM and running through the bells until 1 AM – Auntie Liz Clark and Gordon Hotchkiss will be live, chatting and playing great music to celebrate the end of the year and the start of the new.
It’s the 14th year in a row the duo have toasted and brought in a new year on air.
Chair of the station’s board of directors, Alex Jenkins said: “Both these programmes make our final day-of-the-year broadcasting that little bit extra special and we hope listeners will enjoy every minute of them.”
• Live from Braehead – Hogmanay – 12 – 4 pm.
• Live with Liz Clark & Gordon Hotchkiss for New Year – 10 pm to 1 am.
