The Wherries’ Dave Currie – Special Guest

The Scots Connection show this evening welcomes a very special guest.

DAVE CURRIE, one half of the hugely popular folk duo The Wherries will be joining presenter, Sandy Weir for a chat about The Wherries’ fund raiser for Celtic Music Radio at The View at Cloch in Gourock on Saturday (April 13).

“All of us at the station are so pleased that The Wherries are staging this show to raise funds for Celtic Music Radio,” said Sandy.

“It really is a marvellous gesture and we are so grateful.

“Dave and I will be previewing the event and talking about The Wherries and their music – and playing some of their songs, too. It will be a fun show.

“And Saturday is certain to be a night to remember.”

The Wherries and fellow musician friends will be taking to the stage at The View at Cloch in Gourock at 8 pm – tickets are £15 and can be booked by calling the venue on 01475 310518.

There will be a buffet and a raffle, and there’s still time to donate to it.
