Four days of the best music, comedy and arts in a real town setting – that’s the very first Spree, a brand new national festival based in Paisley, Renfrewshire which starts on Thursday 25 October to Sunday 28 October.
Much of the action will be in a dazzling SpiegelTent in County Square, Paisley plus fantastic music in the unique setting of Paisley Abbey.
Every year at Celtic Connections, the cream of new musical talent will perform on Danny Kyle’s Open Stage.
Paisley born legend Danny Kyle was a passionate supporter of traditional music and a constant campaigner for its revival in Scotland.
Many Scottish artists have launched their careers from the Danny Kyle Open Stage.
At The Spree, spend a Speigeltent Sunday afternoon in the company of Breabach, Craig Jeffrey and many more stunning artists all introduced by The Danny Kyle Open Stage organiser and Celtic Music Radio presenter Liz Clark who will also be there to record the afternoon performances for future transmission on Celtic Music Radio 1530AM.
It all takes place on Sunday 28 October from 2.00 until 5.00pm in the SpiegelTent, County Square, Paisley next to Gilmour Street railway station. Ticket prices: £10.00 / £8.00.
