Snow permitting, The Saw Doctors will visit studio 1 live this afternoon prior to their gig tonight (Friday 16 December) at The Barrowland, Glasgow as part of their winter tour.

Today also sees the Shamtown Records release of the new ‘Downtown’ single by The Saw Doctors featuring veteran singer Petula Clark in Ireland. There will be a limited edition CD of Downtown retailing at  e-99 cent from HMV, Tower Records and Zhivago in Galway, Ireland.  You can also buy Downtown from iTunes Ireland at a cost of e-99 cent.

A big fan of The Saw Doctors is Celtic Music Radio’s Edmund McKay who hopes that Downtown is the No. 1 Christmas hit.
