On the Mary K. Burke Show tonight, Sunday 30 June from 7.00pm, Mary will have special live guests The Coaltown Daisies in studio 1 of Celtic Music Radio.
The Coaltown Daisies fuse together the musical stylings of established singer- songwriters Lynzy Moutter and Vivienne Bern who live in Glenrothes, Fife, an area once known for its coal.
It is no surprise that their shared passion for music in all shapes and sizes steered them towards meeting in the middle and collaborating on their original songs.
Detailing their music with dual harmonies, intelligent lyrics and raw emotion, they want nothing more than to perform them in front of a great audience.
Described as “spell-binding”, “spine-tingling” and “breath-taking”, The Coaltown Daisies have performed at an abundance of venues and festivals on their journey so far including the Big Tent Festival, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, The Inn at Lathones, Montrose Music Festival and Celtic Connections
and have a very busy future ahead; they want to continue sharing their music as far and wide as possible and already have great plans to keep on doing so in the coming years.
Mary K. Burke, Sunday 30 June 7.00-9.00pm and Catch Up anytime.
