Adam comes from Errogie on the south shores of Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. In his early 30s, he is one of Scotland’s most exciting fiddle players, composers and teachers in a thriving scene, drenched with talent. You possibly heard of him in Glasgow back in 2001 when he won a Danny at the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections in the group Fire In the Bog which morphed into Croft No. 5!
He has gone onto be part of many groups such as ‘The Peatbog Faeries’, ‘Session A9 ‘and the stunning and innovative ‘Babelfish’, ‘The Treacherous Orchestra’ and along with Hamish Napier ‘Nae Plans’ as well as guest musician in a multitude of groups such as Salsa Celtica and Manran to name but two! Launching is much acclaimed CD Squall in 2013 and his Errogie Collection : Volume 1 book of music / song / stories and pictures that he has amassed over the last 20 years!
He also finds time to tutor and run fiddle schools(at his year 21 -25 Aug at Sabhal lMor Ostaig on the Isle of Skye . Adam’s tunes are perhaps his most impressive legacy and are played in music sessions and on YouTube videos in the following countries: Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, USA, Canada (Canadian Celtic Music Top-10 with Flook’s version of ‘The Road to Errogie’), Korea, Australia, New Zealand and who knows where else.
