Bidh Ceòl ’s Craic a’ cur fàilte air Stevie Jones agus an còmhlan aige ‘Sound of Yell’ Diluain 25 Cèitean air Ceòl ’s Craic @ Celtic Music Radio.

Mar neach-ciùil a tha air leth comasach ann an iomadach inneal-ciùil tha iarrtas mòr air sgilean is talant Stevie Jones. A-measg nan sreathan de phròiseactan ciùil anns a bheil e air a bhith an sàs chluich e air a’ chlàr Ghàidhlig ‘Urstan’ le Màiri Moireasdan agus Alasdair Roberts, pròiseact a chaidh a chur air chois le Ceòl ’s Craic ann an 2012. Leis a’ chiad chlàr aige, ‘Broken Spectre’ a tha air tighinn a-mach air Chemikal Underground tha Stevie Jones air dearbhadh dè ghabhas a dhèanamh nuair a ‘s e fhèin a tha air an stiùir.

Ceòl ‘s Craic, Diluain 25 Cèitean 6.00-7.00f agus Catch Up uair sam bith.

Ceòl ’s Craic will be welcoming Stevie Jones and the musicians who make up ‘Sound of Yell’ to the programme on Monday 25 May. Join us between 6 and 7.00pm to find out more about the band and hear some great live music.

As a superbly gifted and versatile multi-instrumentalist Stevie Jones is one of the most sought after collaborators in Scottish music. ‘Urstan’ a Gaelic album commissioned by Ceòl ’s Craic featuring Gaelic singer Mairi Morrison and Alasdair Roberts is just one of the many projects he has contributed to. Now performing as Sound of Yell his debut album ‘Broken Spectre’ released on Chemikal Underground reveals just what is possible when Jones is leading the way.

“Wonderfully eccentric acoustic music, composed and performed by Stevie Jones with a supporting cast of Glasgow’s alternative music luminaries. Absorbing, original and moving.” fROOTS

Ceòl ‘s Craic, Monday 25 May 6.00-7.00pm and Catch Up anytime.
