Bill Morris presents his programme of choice Americana and singer-songwriters and this Monday nights at 8.00pm and Bill has a special guest this coming Monday night with Scottish storyteller, Colin Williamson who will be visiting Bill for a chat and stories.

Colin is the grandson of a great teller, so he has been listening to stories all his life and lot of his learning came from this most ancient tradition.

Colin is a historian and ethnologist and is passionate about Scotland’s history, folklore and customs, as a student he studied the ethnology of storytelling, travelling folk and history.

Colin has an MA Honours in Scottish Ethnology gained at the University of Edinburgh together with a diploma in Scottish Studies. He also has a post graduate qualification in Community Education from Moray House Teacher Training College, also based in Edinburgh.

Tales of Wallace, Bruce and Jacobite Tales are among Colin’s favourites and he loves fairy lore for the youngsters. Colin also likes to adapt traditional tales to suit the world our children live in and he even developed some stories of his own.

Colin has a vast working experience as an interactive tour guide in Central Scotland, with excellent historical knowledge and tales.

Morris’ Mash with Bill Morris, Monday 19 August 8.00-10.00pm and Tuesday 20 August 1.00-3.00pm.
