The Scottish New Music Awards and Scottish Music Industry Awards will be held on Sunday 4 September 2011 at 6.30pm at the Classic Grand venue located at 18 Jamaica Street in Glasgow city centre and will be broadcast ‘live’ on Celtic Music Radio from 7.00pm until late.
Scottish Music Industry Awards are for those in the industry that makes it happen.
And this, the first ever Scottish New Music Awards ceremony is SOLD OUT! The Classic Grand venue in Glasgow will be at capacity for the first combined music industry and music award show.
The show, hosted by Britain’s Got Talent’s Edward Reid, will include performances from artists such as:
Jill Jackson, Nicola Cassells, Leon Jackson, Skerryvore, Dave Arcari, Bombskare and many more artists and will be broadcast live on Celtic Music Radio from 7.00pm until late on Sunday 4 September.
The Scottish New Music Awards have been set up to recognise the burgeoning music scene in Scotland. The event, to be held annually, will honour recipients in approximately 60 categories ranging from Male Vocalist of the Year to Rehearsal Studio of the Year.
