Many people are aware of the recent loss of Edinburgh based fiddler, Angus R. Grant, of the band Shooglenifty and son of the tradition bearer Aonghas Grant who will be performing in this concert. Angus will be remembered over the weekend with one of his tunes being played at the ‘stramash’ on the Sunday, which involves every person with an instrument at the festival playing tunes together.
