Sara Petite will be in town on Wednesday appearing at The Full Enchilada at The Rio Cafe, 27 Hyndland Street, Partick, Glasgow and prior to that she will drop-by the Celtic Music Radio studio for a chat and a session around 5.00pm.
Sara Petite displays the same vivacious energy that she brings to the stages upon which she performs.
Sara is bright, attractive, and brimming with stories about life, family, and music.
Often described as an Americana artist, her sound is an earthy fusion of folk, bluegrass, country, and mountain music with surprising flashes of pop and rock.
She steadfastly affirms that “it’s all Americana.” Her singing voice, which has been likened to that of June Carter and Dolly Parton, is the tie that binds the varied styles she blends.
Tour organiser and event manager Rob Ellen who is putting on the show says “I saw Sara at the Leadenhall Americana Festival in 2010 and she just kitted the ass out of it! I am really looking forward to these shows.”
The Full Enchilada with Sara Petite and support from Mary Kathleen Burke on Wednesday 23 May includes a supper – “Hot American-Scots Country with Hot Tex Mex Food”.
Sara Petite, live on Homeward Bound, Wednesday 23 May 4.00-6.00pm and live at night at The Full Enchilada at The Rio Cafe, 27 Hyndland Street, Partick, Glasgow.
