‘A weekend of traditional music, dance and events in Rothbury Northumberland

Programme of events :-
8:30pm – Jubilee Hall – Ceilidh with Fiddlers Elbow
9:30am – Children’s Competitions – in All Saints Church (see Competitions Schedule)
10:00am – 12:00pm – Northumbrian Piping get together – an informal piping session before the start of the competitions (self led) in the Dovecot Room, Jubilee Hall.
10:00pm – 12:00pm – Irish Dance Workshop in the Jubilee Hall, Dining Room.
12.30pm – 5.00pm – Open Competitions (see Competitions Schedule)
12:00pm – 4:00pm Outside Stage
Featuring Rothbury & Neilston Pipe Bands Parade, Absolutely Legless, Andy May Trio, Tom O’Donnell, The Northcumbrians, Rothbury Hills, The Rothbury Ceilidh Band Kids, Ian Douglas Storyteller – face Painting plus much, much more…..
Special Event 2015:- 3.45pm – Northumbrian Piping Session – The Newcastle House Hotel
12.30pm – 4.00pm – Literary Event – The Queens Head Hotel (upstairs room)
6:30pm – All Saints Church Acoustic Concert – featuring this years Festival Guests and Competition Winners
8:30pm – Non Dancing Ceilidh in the Mart – featuring The Andy May Trio, Absolutely Legless, The Northcumbrians, Kirstin Easdale, plus local performers and surprise guests
11:00am – Final Fling with the ‘festival survivors band’. Come along with your family and have a dance. Free Event – (Donations Welcome)
12:30pm – Stalwarts and survivors – sessions for those sturdy people still wanting more music and song, find a comfy corner in a pub and play and sing away
