Rena Gertz is the Lunchtime Selection guest this week (Wednesday, March 15.)
Originally from Germany, Rena came to Scotland in 1996 to complete her Masters degree in law.
Her 2022 album, Bridges, features songs sung in English, Gaelic, German and Italian. She was awarded the Women’s Silver Pendant at the National Mod in 2022 and volunteers regularly at the Scottish Crannog Centre, where she is the “Gaelic Singer in Residence.”
Show host, Ian Oliphant, said: “It looks like this will be a very interesting two hours.”
