Born and raised in Teeside, Rebekah studied violin in Hartlepool with tutor Josephine Watson from the early age of 3 and a half.
The violin quickly became known as a fiddle as a love of folk music became apparent.
Regularly playing with Ceilidh band Burning Bridges in her teens and on occasion alongside the great Ron Angel, of the Teeside Fettlers as stand in fiddler with the Cleveland Bays.
After a period of putting down her instruments for 10 years while she entered the world of work as a graphic designer, she returned to music around 2007 quite by accident, learning the guitar and singing in local folk clubs, falling into a much loved way of life.
Rebekah now lives in North Yorkshire with her husband and Jack Russell ‘Ted’ drawing inspiration from her northern roots for her music.
In April 2012 Rebekah released her follow up CD: Improvising Around the Sun. Rebekah also plays with session band FiddLyn Man Doris and works as a session musician both live and in the studio. She is set to step into the role of ‘producer’ for various artists over 2012.
