Glasgow hosts the world’s biggest week of piping and traditional music and it all started on Monday 11 August until 17 August with Piping Live!
The Glasgow International Piping Festival will celebrate Homecoming 2014 in style with its Music of the Clans series along with a full programme of exciting daytime performances, workshops and evening concerts.
Candleriggs and The National Piping Centre in Cowcaddens will play host to a fantastic week of music which will feature pipers and folk musicians from across the globe.
The festival also offers come and try sessions for piping, drumming and Gaelic language for all ages.
Celtic Music Radio 95 FM is broadcasting live from the Piping Live! Festival Club every night from 10.00pm at the National Piping Centre, MacPhatter Street, Cowcaddens, Glasgow. There will be guests, interviews with musicians and MC Fergus Muirhead introducing performers on the main stage.
