Celtic Music Radio intends once again to cover extensively the Perthshire Amber music festival in Highland Perthshire.
This is the 9th year of Perthshire Amber and promises once again to be full of wonderful concerts featuring the finest of Scotland’s musical talent as well as some international guests.
The Highland Perthshire venues are as special as ever ranging from the prestigious Perth Concert Hall in the Fair City of Perth to town halls and tiny village halls, from atmospheric castles to the historic Dunkeld Cathedral and even including an iron age Crannog on Loch Tay. There will be eight venues in all in 2013.
The festival is always evolving, remember it began as just a weekend of concerts, and this year the organisers – Dougie MacLean and his family and team – have put a lot of thought into the whole concept of ‘Amber Discoveries’ to complement the programme of concerts.
Perthshire Amber 2013 starts on Friday 25 October and runs right through until Sunday 3 November 2013.
Opening highlights include the Opening Concert featuring Dougie MacLean and Karine Polwart in the Caledonia Hall, Edradour Distillery, Moulin, Pitlochry at 8.00pm.
On Saturday 26 October 2013 the Open Mic broadcast live cheap celebrex on Celtic Music Radio from the Wee Festival Hall, Amber Central, Dunkeld from 1.00pm until 4.00pm.
On Saturday night a Concert featuring the Dougie MacLean Trio and The Hazey Janes in Aberfeldy Town Hall, Aberfeldy at 8.00pm.
Celtic Music Radio intends to broadcast live each evening from Cabaret Amber in the Wee Festival Hall at Amber Central, Dunkeld from 5.00 until 7.00pm on weekdays.
