Mike Ritchie To Present 400th Sunday Show

The award-winning Mike Ritchie On Sunday Show reaches a special moment this weekend (March 5) – it will be Mike’s 400th show.
His first Sunday broadcast was back in August 2014 and since then his two-hour playlists, featuring classic and new Americana, Roots and singer/songwriters plus many interviews, have won him a loyal following.
And twice in three years he topped the influential Americana UK website’s end-of-year readers’ poll for Best Radio Show, most recently in 2020 – most welcome accolades for the station.
Chair of Celtic Music Radio’s Board of Directors, Alex Jenkins, said: “Mike produces and presents a terrific, well-researched programme for a large and growing audience that enjoys his choice of music and his observations. He works hard and it shows.”
