On this Easter Holiday Monday, Celtic Music Radio presents a very special charity concert recorded at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow.
Mary’s Meals and Celtic Connections presented a very special one-off gig featuring a top line-up of Scottish musicians taking to the stage at the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow on 29 October 2010 to raise awareness for the work of the charity.
Celtic Music Radio recorded the evening which featured Eddi Reader, Colin MacIntyre, Washington Irving, Tommy Reilly and Roddy Hart. The concert is introduced by Vic Galloway.
Mary’s Meals feed over pokies 412,000 of the world’s poorest children each school day in 15 countries, feeding and educating the needy so they can lift themselves out of poverty as adults.
