From Mari’s childhood in Lochaber, to living in London and Edinburgh her cultural heritage mixed with the Americana and bluegrass scene have brought her on a musical journey accumulating into this beautifully crafted self-penned songs. Joining her on the album is Steven Polwart on guitar, Mattie Folds not only producer but on percussion and piano, Nico Bruce on Double Bass, Fraser Fifield on low whistle, Dave Currie on dobro, Danny Hart on fiddle, bluegrass banjo & mandolin and Mark Woods on clawhammer banjo. The album was launched 29 thJune and at launch gigs on the 20 th of June in The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh and the Glad café in Glasgow on Sunday 28 th June to a packed house!
