Celtic Music Radio 1530AM will broadcast live from the Edinburgh Guitar and Music Festival this holiday weekend, Saturday and Sunday 24-25 May.
Edinburgh Guitar & Music Festival is delighted to be staging the premier guitar event at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, 11 Newmarket Road, Slateford, Edinburgh EH14 1RJ
The festival is not just taking over part of the complex, they are taking over the entire area!
The Exchange will be where all the exhibitors of high-end guitar and guitar related equipment will be allocated.
The Baron suite will have an ongoing programme of daytime concerts, followed by evening concerts will be held in the beautiful Baron suite. The finals for the guitar player competitions will also be held here.
The Newmart/Oldmart suites will each day have a succession of guitar seminars covering a host of topics from professional guitarists who have a track record of both being great players and great teachers.
The Newmarket suite will be the venue for music industry seminars from leading lights in the music industry.
In the Bistro there will be initial rounds of the various competitions will be held in this area.
There will be a massive amount of musical talent playing throughout each day of the festival. Some of the coolest bands and rising stars will be playing, each getting a thirty minute slot so make sure you’re on time for your favourites and don’t miss a note.

The building was erected in 1909 as a corn exchange and is a category B listed building. It was restored to its former glory by Marcos, a family run Edinburgh Business and opened in 1992. It was restored for use as a venue in 1999.
