Celtic Music Radio 95 FM will be live from the Piping Live! festival club on Monday 11 August at 10.00pm with music live from the stage of the main hall in the National Piping Centre, MacPhatter Street, Cowcaddens, Glasgow.
MC Fergus Muirhead will introduce on Monday night from around 10.30pm Andy May, Julien Cartonnet, Stefce Stojkovski and The Kyle Warren Band.
Glasgow hosts the world’s biggest week of piping and traditional music and it all starts on Monday 11 August until 17 August with Piping Live!
The Glasgow International Piping Festival will celebrate Homecoming 2014 in style with its Music of the Clans series along with a full programme of exciting daytime performances, workshops and evening concerts.
Candleriggs and The National Piping Centre in Cowcaddens will play host to a fantastic week of music which will feature pipers and folk musicians from across the globe.
The festival also offers come and try sessions for piping, drumming and Gaelic language for all ages.
Celtic Music Radio 95 FM will be broadcasting live from the Piping Live! Festival Club every night from 10.00pm at the National Piping Centre with guests, interviews with musicians and MC Fergus Muirhead introducing performers on the main stage.
Kyle Warren (pictured) and his band play the festival club on Monday night. Warren is three time World Champion piper and is a member of the 2011 and 2013 ‘Grand Slam’ Champions Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band. Kyle is also a member of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and has toured world-wide performing to thousands of people and now, primarily, he is in demand internationally as a bagpipe tutor.
