11am Kate McCabe
Kate McCabe is a singer songwriter from Strathaven, Scotland. Her debut EP Fault features atmospheric title track alongside ‘Our Alphabet’, a love song from A to Z, the beautiful ‘Autumn’ and ‘Rejected’.
12pm Gary Anderson
Montrose singer/songwriter Gary Anderson. With over 30 years of gigging behind him Gary has gained a wealth of experience covering a wide range of instruments and genres . His solo performances showcase his eclectic style of playing and singing – mixing his own original material which covers a wide range of subjects and inspirations, with a few folk, rock and country covers, all stripped down to great effect using only his voice and a guitar.
1pm Lisa Rigby Appearing at Celtic Connections 29 Jan as part of Made In Perthshire
Lisa working out of Edinburgh. Started composing and performing in 2004, recording her debut CD “Hello”. The following year in 2008 she formed “Townhouse” with Stuart Clark & John Farrell, their debut LP “Ten Pieces” appearing in 2009. Lisa’s second solo CD “Transition” was launched in 2011
2pm James Edwin
Singer-songwriter and guitarist James Edwyn has styled his latest work in the bracket of Americana, folk-rock, alternative country. James Edwyn & the Borrowed Band were formed in 2013, influenced by folk singer songwriters such as Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan as well as alternative country artists such as Gillian Welch Dave Rawlins, the Felice Brothers and Ryan Adams, their music is a mix of alt country folk rock roots orientated Americana.The band is centred around singer songwriter/ guitarist James Edwyn. They got their name as each member was borrowed from various bands James was involved in
3pm Katee Kross
Katee Kross is an 19 year old singer/songwriter from Bishopbriggs , Katee released Her first album Beautiful Dreamer in March 2016 and is currently working on her second album which is planned for release early 2017.
4pm Steve Grozier
Steve is a Singer/Songwriter based in Glasgow and released his critically acclaimed debut EP Take My Leave out now on Batcat Records in September 2016 “The music Grozier produces is warm and beautiful, invoking the alt country ghosts of Whiskeytown and Jay Farrar’s Son Volt”
