Celtic Music Radio 95 FM is live from the Cabaret Amber concerts starting at 5.00pm at the 2014 Perthshire Amber festival based at Amber Central, the Royal Dunkeld Hotel, Dunkeld in Highland Perthshire.
Cabaret Amber is the early evening festival club and is broadcast live on Celtic Music Radio 95 FM and online and all mobile devices including tune-in on smart phones.
It is a place to gather and enjoy some fine music, to meet up with other festival goers and compare the days activities or plan the night ahead.
The venue is the Wee Festival Hall at Amber Central, otherwise known as upstairs at the Royal Dunkeld Hotel from 5.00-7.00pm.
It is hosted by Perthshire Amber favourites Gina MacLeod and Alan Jordan who will introduce you to some of the great emerging talents on the scene today. Tonight’s performers:
Her performance line-up is herself on vocals, guitar, piano and accordion and Roy Marchbank who is a internationally renowned musician/composer on electric, acoustic and classical guitars. Over the years, Darcy has collaborated with various musicians, from Karine Polwart to Wendy Stewart.
In her home village of Moniaive in Dumfries-shire, Darcy has opened for both Altan and Dervish.
In a world awash with carbon copy musicians and unimaginative cover artists, Ryan Young breaks out onto the music scene as a welcome breath of fresh air.
Catchy vocals round off his sound into a smooth feeling of warmth that touches the soul of listeners one and all. Returning from Australia early in 2013, Ryan decided to launch his solo career, after a great start with the bands Stripey Jack and The Hazes.
Writing and recording his own material since 2012 Ryan has refined his sound on the guitar, which he couples with engaging and meaningful vocals performed with a real passion on stage.
Caberet Amber live from Amber Central, Tuesday 28 October, 5.00-7.00pm and Catch Up anytime.
