The Co-operative was on the hunt for the best revolutions up and down the country and Celtic Music Radio had been selected as one of those revolutions.
By voting for us in the scheme we could have won £5,000 which would help us buy a new transmitter for our 1530AM broadcasts in Glasgow which would vastly improve the service to our community of interest and wider listenership.
There were over 300 Revolutions for grant funding with over 15,000 votes across the UK. Celtic Music Radio came in ninth in the Scotland & Northern Ireland nations region. The most votes in Scotland & NI went to Student Volunteers Abroad who provide shelter, education and nutrition for some of Bangalore’s children that are most at risk.
The Co-Op are now verifying the results and they will be announcing the five winning revolutions soon.
Thanks to everyone that voted for Celtic Music Radio. You can further assist us by buying a ticket in our Win-a-Car raffle at just £2 a ticket.
