On Wednesday night, 9 November, Gordon Hotchkiss presented a Hotchpotch special tribute to John Watt who sadly died on 31 October.

John Watt was a great stalwart of the Scottish folk scene for over 40 years and a notable songwriter with many of his songs known worldwide.
Gordon presented a special tribute programme featuring a rare interview by Jimmy Hutchison at last year’s Fife Singing Weekend. Gordon was also be joined in the studio by Rab Noakes to reminisce on the contribution that John made over the years to Scottish culture and play tracks from his two albums Shores of the Forth recorded in 1976 with Davey Stewart and the Beggars Mantle Ceilidh Band and his more recent CD Heroes produced by Rab Noakes and released in 2000.
