Janice Burns and Jon Doran – Guests On Travels With My Auntie Liz

Janice Burns and Jon Doran will be talking about their shared love of traditional music on Travels With My Auntie Liz this week – Tuesday, December 7 between 8 and 10 pm.
The Anglo-Scottish duo, who were among the award winners at The Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections 2021, will chat about what they have been up to this year – from writing and planning recordings, virtual gigs and how much they are looking forward to Celtic Connections in 2022.
They will appear in the Danny Kyle Open Stage Showcase of 2021 that takes place on January 21. Their five-track, self-titled debut EP was released in September last year to overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Janice and Jon, who met when they were studying folk and traditional music at Newcastle University and then spent one year at the University of South-East Norway together, have upcoming gigs at:
