This week’s Sunday Herald published on Sunday 11 January will have inserted in the newspaper a CD featuring artists appearing at Celtic Connections 2015.
Tracks on this free CD include Martyn Bennett’s ‘Blackbird’ from his album Grit which is the opening performance of Celtic Connections in the Main Auditorium of The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Thursday 15 January 2015.
Other notable tracks are from Mike Vass, who was recently interviewed on Celtic Music Radio as part of the Album of the Week feature. ‘Settled in the City’ from Mike’s album In the Wake of Neil Gunn.
Dallahan’s Carrick-a-Rede from the album When The Day is on the Turn from this young band. King Creosote (aka Kenny Anderson) with his ‘Pauper’s Dough’ from his acclaimed album ‘From Scotland with Love’ and the final track is from Glasgow legend Arthur Johnstone with ‘Your Daughters and Your Sons’ featuring The Stars Band from the album Doon Through the Years.
