Alistair Hulett Memorial Trust – Red Clydeside Concert in January 2014
Taking part was Jimmy Ross, John Hammel, Finlay Allison, Penny Stone, Tom Leonard and Ewan McLennan.
Alistair Hulett was a singer, songwriter, international socialist and revolutionary.
He was a kind, gentle man who was committed to fighting for a better world – a world based on the principles of justice, equality, love and respect for all of humanity. The world was a better place for knowing him and is a sadder place for his loss. He left a great legacy in his music that will continue to bring inspiration to many who, like him, believe a better world was possible.
The Alistair Hulett website proudly continues the legacy in the form of his writing, recordings and the widespread influence he had through his activism on behalf of many social justice causes.
With this in mind, this is the 4th Alistair Hulett Memorial Trust Concert – Red Clydeside. Guests that took part in the concert were Jimmy Ross, John Hammel, Finlay Allison, Penny Stone, Tom Leonard, Ewan McLennan, Roy Bailey and Mark Lock.
My thanks to Fatama and all the trustees of this marvellous organisation and of course to Alistair, whose music and inspiration continues to empower all who hear it.
