Born and reared in Dublin, Edmund has lived in Paisley for the past 21 years with his wife, two teenage daughters and various pets including a dog, two budgies, various tropical fish and a Leopard Gecko.
Growing up in Dublin all those years ago he lived beside the National Stadium, which at that time the only main music venue in the city, and so got the opportunity to see some of the best UK and Irish groups of the time and this influenced his continuing love of modern Irish and Scottish music.
He first became involved in radio in 1984 when he presented daily on St. Itas Hospital Radio.
A chance meeting with Celtic Music Radio’s Bob McWilliam saw his return to the mic in November of 2010.
In between his full time job as Head of Care with a Social Care organisation and his commitments to Celtic Music Radio and his family, he is also a qualified Toastmaster and a member of both Glasgow Toastmasters and Toastmasters International.
