Edinburgh Tradfest Focus – Travels With My Auntie Liz

Tonight’s edition of Travels With My Auntie Liz is a packed one.

Liz will be in conversation with Jane Ann, Douglas and Coin the dog from Sound House and will also be focusing on Edinburgh Tradfest that runs from 3rd -13th May 2024.

The festival’s stunning opening concert in The Queen’s Hall features Valtos, Assynt and Josie Duncan and the closing concert sees Julie Fowlis, Laura Wilkie and Ian Carr taking to the stage.

Liz will be looking at the Edinburgh Youth Gatherin as well with daily events at The Storytelling Centre, the Late-Night Club and workshops galore that include traditional songs from Zimbabwe with Bruce Ncube; song writing with Karine Polwart ; fiddle Technique with Anna-Wendy Stevenson and storytelling with Svend-Erik Engh.
