Gordon Hotchkiss had The Friel Sisters as guests on his Hotchkiss Hotchpotch show and as well as being fine musicians, it happens that two of the sisters are also studying dentistry in Glasgow.

Gordon thought he was making a fine joke by playing Ian Davidson’s The Talking Dentist, but the joke turned on him!   As he took a bite out of a biscuit, one of his front teeth broke!
