Bidh Ceòl ‘s’s Craic a’ toirt aoigheachd dhan luchd-ciùil Lorraine Wilson agus Jim Ramsay Diluain.

Choinnich iad mar bhuill dhen choisir The Parsonage a bhios ag ath-nuadhachadh àilleagan bho stòras òrain ceol dùthchas agus a’ nochdadh air an àrd-ùrlair aig tachartasan a-leithid T in the Park, Connect, Belladrum – agus fiu ‘s consairt Rod Stewart aig Hampden ann an 2007. Bidh Jim, a tha na chluicheadair iomadh inneal-ciùil, a’ seinn agus a’ cluich giotair sa chòmhlan-ciùil The Last Best West. A bharrachd air a bhith a’ seinn leis a’ chòmhlan seo bho àm gu àm bidh Lorraine a’ seinn le a ‘peathraichean ciùil’ The Cinnamon Girls. Nochd i air an àrd-ùrlair aig Ceòl ’s Craic grunnan turas – nam measg tachartas a’ comharrachadh òrain Bob Dylan sa Ghàidhlig agus oidhche a’ toirt urram dha na rionnaigean ciùil Gåìdhlig- na Peathraichean Dòmhnallach. Tha fhios gum bi seisean ciùil Lorraine is Jim sònraichte math!

Ceòl ’s Craic will be hosting a music session from Lorraine Wilson and Jim Ramsay on Monday 30 March.

They met as members of The Parsonage choir, re-presenting gems from the country and folk songbook and performing at events such as T in the Park, Connect and Belladrum Festivals and even a gig supporting Rod Stewart at Hampden in 2007. Multi- instrumentalist Jim sings and plays guitar in down and dirty country influenced band The Last Best West. Lorraine guests with the band, as well as singing with her sisters in harmony, The Cinnamon Girls. She has performed at Ceol ‘s Craic on several occasions including a celebration of the songs of Bob Dylan in Gaelic and a tribute night to Gaelic music stars The MacDonald sisters. We look forward with anticipation to a really special music session from Lorraine and Jim.
