Radioplayer is a non-profit partnership between the BBC and commercial radio. It’s aim is to keep radio listening simple, particularly on things which are connected to the internet, like computers, smartphones, and tablets.
Working with designers from the BBC and across the radio industry, Radioplayer launched their first shared web player for computers in 2011. With simple, consistent controls and a powerful search engine, it quickly became the industry standard. It’s now used by over 400 stations across the UK, and more than 6 million people every month.
