Celtic Music Radio will launch officially on 95.0 FM at 12 noon today, Tuesday 1st July when presenters Liz Clark and Gordon Hotchkiss will be in studio 1 with guests to celebrate broadcasting on the FM waveband across Glasgow.
Live in studio 1 will be band members of Skerryvore who will be telling listeners all about their forthcoming album and perhaps exclusively play a track or two from the album on high quality stereo 95 FM.
The station has a new positiong statement promising a ‘festival of music’ as it prepares to switch over from 1530 AM/medium wave to 95 FM transmission with a hope that the move to the waveband of choice will be a boost to its audience and further improve services as a result.
On air since January 2008 on 1530AM in the Glasgow area, Celtic Music Radio prides itself as a station with a mission to support new musical talent singers and songwriters and to be a strong voice for contemporary and traditional Scottish music, arts and culture.
- The service on 1530 kHz AM medium wave will cease on Tuesday 1st July. Listeners on 1530AM should switchover now to the FM waveband and tune to 95.0 FM to listen to Celtic Music Radio which is also available online via www.celticmusicradio.net by clicking Listen Live plus on all mobile apps.
