The second year of the return of the renowned Bute Fest 2016 is upon us! Running from 29-31 July .
Featuring the stunning local talent of the island to artists from the mainland of national and international status in a range of music genres to excite seasoned festival goes from far and wide… with the campsite adjacent to the festival arena , means there is not far to go to get to the music!

Also performing is Bella Gaffney a this years finalist in The Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections in 2016 and here at the festival re her appearing a a finalist at the Cal Mac’s Culture Music event in King Tuts. She has had quite a year so far and was also booked by other Scottish festivals on the night, great to see her back up in Scotland

‘Looking for something to do with the kids this summer? Not only do Under 11’s go FREE to ButeFest 2016, but we also have a great family ticket deal for those of you with older youngsters too (I’ve double checked ‘older youngsters’…and it just about makes sense!)’
Workshops are also taking place – for our own Gillie Banks – How about learning Spinning ,weaving, dying and Scots Song in Dabbles in Scots Corner !
