Mary Ann Kennedy is a lady of many talents from being musician, singer, composer, radio and television presenter, choral director to a choral director and music producer. Glasgow born lass into a music dynasty with her mother Kenna Campbell from The Isle of Skye who along with Seumas & Ann Kenna’s brothers and sisters formed The Exiles the foremost Gaelic band of the day, so it would be true to say that the music was in her blood and her ears since birth.
A graduate of the then RSAMD and completed her Master’s degree thesis was a stud of Gaelic ‘ purit a beul’ – mouth music. Involved in many recording projects before, Mary Ann also runs Watercolour Music Studios with her husband Nick Turner where her debut solo album was recorded ‘An Dàn’ (the song)
