Album Of The Week – True Gents ‘Did Ye Get Healed’

Indie, folk-rock, and psych-pop band TRUE GENTS boldly and imaginatively weave together swirling melodies, driving rhythms and the essence of the Scottish wilderness in their music.

It’s an inventive approach that’s won them many admirers since they were formed by school friends Euan Nicol and Toby Jeffery in 2006.

There’s a haunting highland atmosphere eased into the tracks on this latest collection from the seven-piece that also retains welcome elements of psych-infused jangle pop.

It’s an absorbing mix and one that will be discussed on the Album of the Week Show today, with Auntie Liz Clark at midday.
