The Celtic Music Radio Album of the Week commencing Saturday 30 November is from The Paisley Songwriter’s Guild ‘Volume 1’.

The Paisley Songwriter’s Guild are a talented group of musicians who are helping to keep Paisley alive with music to include this album that has been inspired by their home town.
‘Volume One’ is the debut album of the Paisley Songwriters’ Guild and features tracks written and recorded by 16 members of the group. The album launch was celebrated using the Paisley Abbey image to create the Guild’s very own version of the classic Beatles album cover Abbey Road.
The Paisley Songwriter’s Guild has more than 120 members in the group of which 16 have performed on the album. The artists appearing on the album, in track order, are: Turtle, Johnny McAuley, Quinny, Cassy Lochart, Chic O’Connor, Brian Kerr, Steven Hillcoat, Casino City, Alan McKim, John Rush, Majestic Dandelion, Jimo Wallace, Yvonne Sanderson, Chris Cherry, Paul Hipson and Marie Collins.
