Album Of The Week – Ian Bruce, Peter Clark, Ian Lowthian & Bruce MacGregor ‘The Land We Love’

This intriguing album focuses on the poems of the Borders’ poet, Will H. Ogilvie set to music by Ian M. Bruce.

With well over a thousand poems it was a tough task to choose only 18 tracks to go on The Land We Love, but Ian managed and was ably supported by Peter Clark, Ian Lowthian and Bruce MacGregor.

Will H. Ogilvie was a Scottish-Australian narrative poet and horseman, famed for his poems about horses, the Australian Outback and, above all, about his beloved Borderland.

Ian, with Norrie Fraser from Well Road Productions who commissioned the CD, will be chatting about this stirring collection on the station’s Album of the Week show today (Saturday, November 26, 2022) with ‘Auntie’ Liz Clark.
