Album Of The Week – Emma Jane ‘Grow’
Written by celtic music radio on April 27, 2024
Glasgow-based Americana singer/songwriter Emma Jane’s album ‘Grow’ is a 12-track collection steeped in personal meaning and heartfelt connections.
She has been writing songs since the age of seven, performing since late 2005 and winning praise as a songwriter with the capability to move the hardest of souls.
And Emma’s been described as having one of the most distinctive, rich, bluesy voices you’ll hear this side of Nashville.
She wrote and composed all the songs on ‘Grow’ in her home studio in Glasgow, where the album was partly recorded.
Emma will be in conversation with Liz Clark on our Album of the Week Show today (Saturday, April 27) at midday.
Later in the day, her album launch is taking place in The Rum Shack on Glasgow’s South Side, one of the excellent 20th anniversary gigs for The Fallen Angels Club.
