Ainsley Hamill’s much anticipated third album FABLE – launched at Celtic Connections this year – is a sublime and memorable collection of songs inspired by Scottish folklore and myth.

Ainsley’s musical output is deeply influenced by the cultural heritage of Scotland and a profound love for both Scottish Gaelic and Scots songs.

In this collection she features such strong songs as the traditional classic, Sinnerman, made famous by Nina Simone as well as a fine rendition of the Burns’ song What Can A Young Lassie.

Ainsley’s exquisite vocals, backed by a stellar band of musicians, are captivating on every song as she provides an intriguing journey that keeps traditions and stories vivid and alive.
