Adam comes from Errogie on the south shores of Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. In his early 30s, he is one of Scotland’s most exciting fiddle players, composers and teachers in a thriving scene, drenched with talent. You possibly heard of him in Glasgow back in 2001 when he won a Danny at the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections in the group Fire In the Bog which morphed into Croft No. 5!
He has gone onto be part of many groups such as The Peatbog Faeries, Session A9 and the stunning and innovative Babelfish, The Treacherous Orchestra as well as gust musician in a multitude of groups such as Salsa Celtica and Manran to name but two!
He also finds time to tutor and hopes to run his own fiddle school in 2014. Adam’s tunes are perhaps his most impressive legacy and are played in music sessions and on YouTube videos in the following countries: Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Norway, USA, Canada (Canadian Celtic Music Top-10 with Flook’s version of ‘The Road to Errogie’), Korea, Australia, New Zealand and who knows where else.
