Live at St Patrick’s Day Glasgow Festival
Written by celtic music radio on March 2, 2025
Celtic Music Radio will be at the heart of the Glasgow St Patrick’s Day Festival Family Fun Day in the city’s Merchant Square on Saturday with a live, five-hour fund-raising broadcast, starting at noon.
The Festival, in conjunction with Tourism Ireland, presents a family celebration with music, song and dance – and our team of presenters will be on air to bring you all that happens, including great music.
It’s been a regular event in our schedule for a number of years and helps boost the funds that keep us on air.
There will be live music, good chat, a station tombola with prizes for children as well as other goodies.
“It’s a great day out and a real fun broadcast for the station,” said Alex Jenkins, chair of the board of directors of Celtic Music Radio.
“We will be live on air for five hours, at the heart of everything that’s going on. The station has a fine reputation for outside broadcasts like this so it’s going to be another special occasion.
“If anyone would like to come along, we will be delighted to welcome you.”
