Paisley Buddy JOHN RUSH has released his second album SOMETIME ON NEW STREET and readily admits:
“It’s a bit different from my debut (2019’s Beneath The Apple Tree) but I am excited for folk to hear it.”
John grew up in the music and sounds of his native Paisley with such icons of Gerry Rafferty and John Byrne to spur him on.
His folk tinged songs have earned him a staunch fan base built by gigs at King Tut’s, Barrowland, St Luke’s and the O2 as well as winning a ‘Danny Kyle Open Stage Award’ in 2022 at Celtic Connections.
John will be chatting with Liz Clark about the new record on the Album of the Week Show today at midday.
